Discover Scuba Diving

The diving experience will allow you to Discover Scuba Diving for the first time, we will give you a theorical and practical diving class with the essentials so you can enjoy this activity in a safe and fun way, always accompanied by our professional diving instructors and guides.

The activity includes a 2-hour diving class in confined waters, at the end of your diving practice we will go diving in open waters at an average depth of between 8 and 12 meters deep. The use of diving equipment is included.

Yes. It is designed for people who want to try diving for the first time with professional supervision.

Do I need certification for this diving experience in Playa del Carmen?

No. You only need basic swimming skills and to follow the instructor’s guidance.

What is included in Discover Scuba Diving?

It includes a theory and confined-water practice session, an open-water dive and full diving equipment.

Does this experience certify me as a diver?

No. It is an introductory experience. If you want certification, you need to take the Open Water course.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations or changes made at least 24 hours in advance do not generate any charge. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not show up, 100% of the deposit will be charged. If Deep Mexico cancels due to weather or sea conditions and rescheduling is not possible, no charge applies.

I Had 4 Dives with Deep Mexico and I can only say that those Dives were the best I never had. All the Staff Gustavo, Karo , el Capi Omar and Alberto are very nice very friendly and very professional.
